You can now finally free your iPad 2 from the shackles of Apple as JailbreakMe 3.0 has gone live. It allows you to perform an untethered jailbreak of your iPad 2 and is reportedly working well on iPads running 4.3.3.

According to comex (the jailbreak author), JailbreakMe 3.0 works on every iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 3G and 4G running on the latest iOS 4.3.3 plus the CDMA iPhone 4 running on the latest iOS 4.2.8. Support for previous iOS versions will be added in the future.
