This is a customizer’s wet dream: having the beautiful Windows Phone 7 tiles on the user-friendly Honeycomb. This port was recently done on the Android tablet shown in the video below.
The guys of WP7Android are behind this great initiative and it appears that they also built a Windows 8 Live Tile lookalike with Desktop Visualiser and ADW EX. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with Honeycomb 3.1 is the device of choice and those tiles are moving pretty fluidly. Now, all they have to do is get rid of the Android clock and bottom left navigation icons and it’s all Metro UI.
Looking forward to seeing this on a smaller tablet, maybe a7 incher like HTC Flyer?
